Sunday Morning Worship Experiences 04-24-16
At first glance, it’s easy to believe that a person who is humble always loses out, gets overlooked, and comes in dead last. And on the flipside, a person with less humility always wins, gets noticed, and comes in first. But Jesus taught us exactly the opposite. There are great blessings in store for those who exercise humility. We may not always win like the world defines winning, but we will live our lives in true contentment and joy. Proverbs 22:4: “Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.”

Sunday Morning Worship Experience 03-20-16
We don’t all have the same story, yet we are all called to exercise patience in the midst of it. Patience doesn’t happen immediately. It takes time for our relationship with God to produce the ability to develop patience, and that’s okay! God models that patience with us and he is pleased as we grow in it.
If we trust God and have a passion to treat others the way he treats us, we will learn more each day how to be slow to anger and remain full of peace and joy when the hard times come.

Sunday Morning Worship Experience 03-13-16
So how are you doing with your New Year’s resolution?
It’s March, and the struggle is real! One of the most common resolutions is to
be healthier – maybe some diet an exercise. We take a deep breath, find the
best diet, pray for willpower, and get a gym membership. Well, how is that
going for you? The Bible tells us that one of the fruits of the Spirit is
self-control. Most of the Christian world defines that word in this way: If I
try harder next time, I’ll eventually have self-control when I need it. What do
you think? Is that what it means? Listen to find out!
