Jesus was the first one to put emphasis on these two words – the way. In John 14:6 He says, "…I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." That's pretty clear, but humanity still wants to argue the point. There is something deep in us that wants to insist that we be given options. We often try other ways that we feel would be easier – our own personal choices – only to find that Jesus' way is always best.
