At first glance, it’s easy to believe that a person who is humble always loses out, gets overlooked, and comes in dead last. And on the flipside, a person with less humility  always wins, gets noticed, and comes in first. But Jesus taught us exactly the opposite. There are great blessings in store for those who exercise humility. We may not always win like the world defines winning, but we will live our lives in true contentment and joy. Proverbs 22:4: “Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.”
